Jazz Jam Sessions in Austin

Former lead trombonist with The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and the Duke Ellington Orchestra, Andre's smooth mellow tone sets him at the top of the A List. He will host the JAM with a mellow touch.

Join us for a live taping and listening-room concert for AJS Presents: Milo Hehmsoth Quartet! Milo Hehmsoth – Piano Bruce Saunders – Guitar Billy Satterwhite – Bass Josh Alderete – Drums Milo Hehmsoth is a pianist, composer and educator based in Austin, Texas. Hehmsoth has shared the stage with Austin mainstays Scott McIntosh, Andre Hayward, Autumn Henderson, currently maintains residencies with Jacob Wise for the Tuesday Jazz Jam, Dr. James Polk's Centerpeace, and Terrance McDaniel’s "The Blacklist”. This quartet performance will feature a selections of American songbook standards, with a highlight on interpretations and compositions from his writings.
