Cicely Renee Jones – vocals Marco Antonio Santos – guitar Josh Meadows – piano Chris Jones – bass Mike Gordon – drums Cicely’s love of music and performance started at an early age. Her professional career started in 2000 with Hot Wax Motown Band. During that time, she also traveled the country performing as a backup singer for The Mudd Catts Elvis Presley Impersonator Band. Cicely currently sings with CC Jones Quartet, which performs jazz and contemporary music, and with the Royal Dukes Wedding Party Band. Her other performances include Celebrating Women In Jazz, Motown 65:A Tribute to 65 Years of Music, and the Star Spangled Cabaret: Celebrating a Century of Iconic American Songs. Over the years, Cicely has volunteered her musical talents to the Austin Miss America Pageant, Texas Special Olympics, Wesley United Methodist Church Intergenerational Choir, and the Combined Law Enforcement Association of Texas (CLEAT). Join us for a live taping and listening-room concert for the Peter Weise Quartet! Pete Weise - Guitar Brian Donahoe - Saxophone Ryan Hagler - Bass Brannen Temple - Drums Pete Weise is a professional guitarist and educator based in Dallas,TX. In addition to club dates and session work, Mr. Weise’s credits include the Memphis Brass Big Band, the Rebel Alliance Jazz Ensemble, the Texas Tenors, the Plano Symphony, the Lone Star Jazz Orchestra, the Denton Arts and Jazz Festival, Saratoga Arts Fest and has performed with Wayne Burgeron, Tom “Bones” Malone, Clay Jenkins, Jon Faddis, Bob Reynolds, James Morrison, Adam Larson, Lou Marini, Arjuna Contreras, Chad Lefkowitz-Brown and Gregg Bissonette. He holds a B.M. and M.M. in Jazz Performance from the University of North Texas and has studied with Fred Hamilton, Jimi Tunnell, John McLean, Jeff Andrews, Brad Shepik, Oz Noy, Jody Fisher and Dave Fiuczynski. Mr. Weise is Associate Professor of Jazz Guitar at Collin College in Plano, TX and Professor of Commercial Guitar at Dallas College in Lancaster, TX. He was a faculty member of the renowned National Guitar Workshop, teaching at the New Milford, CT and Austin, TX campuses from 2000 to 2011. He is currently published by Premier Guitar Magazine and is an artist for G&L Guitars, D’Addario Strings, Godin Guitars, D’Angelico Guitars, Supro, and Pigtronix. As a solo artist, he performs regularly with his trio and quartet, playing original jazz compositions and free improvisation influenced by Miles Davis, Ornette Coleman, John Scofield and Kurt Rosenwinkel. “Masch Branch” was independently recorded and produced in 2002, featuring saxophonist Chad Makela from Doc Severinson’s orchestra. Weise’s latest quartet album “Salome’s Blues” was released in 2012 by Armored Records, featuring saxophonist Mario Cruz (Jaco Pastorius Big Band, Bruce Springsteen) and bassist Jacob Smith (Bob Belden’s Animation band). He performs in many side projects, including the Quintet which is comprised of guitar, keyboard, bass and two drummers. The band recorded and released “Love The Music” in 2011 and is a collaborative effort in free improvisation, electronica and jazz. Please Note: MONKS JAZZ IS NOW A FULL SERVICE BAR. Eloise Carter – Vocals Ryan Hagler — Bass Joel Frahm — Saxophone Marco Antonio Santos — Guitar Eloise Carter is a NYC-based jazz singer and actress. With Texas roots, she frequently returns to Texas and loves playing Monks Jazz. She’s a recent graduate from the Tribeca Jazz Institute, where she studied with Lucy Yeghaizaryan, Michael Kanan, Tardo Hammer, and Vanisha Gould. In November 2025, she released her debut EP “Eloise: Live From Monks.” An emerging artist in both the acting and music fields, her Shakespeare adaptation Gents Can’t Measure was workshopped by Fiasco Theater in May and she has just returned from her first European tour with stops in London, The Netherlands, and Paris. Michael's resume includes a five-year stint touring with legendary jazz organist Jimmy Smith, as well as dates with Cindy Blackmon, guitarist Mark Whitfield, and steel drummer Othello Molineaux. In addition to touring Europe and Asia with his own group Just Released, Michael was also a member and composer in the award-winning Austin-based group Blaze. A Resident of Austin, Texas, he leads The Michael Malone Quintet, works extensively with jazz organist extraordinaire Red Young, and plays frequently with Austin vocalist Pamela Hart. Jonathan Horne – Guitar Cat Clemons – Guitar Sam Pankey – Bass Jeffrey Olson – Drums About Jonathan Horne: Jonathan Farrell Horne (b. 1983 in Knoxville, TN) is a self taught guitarist currently on tour for the last 2 years, traveling between the US, Norway, the EU, and South America. Jonathan has spent the last 20 years based in Austin, TX collaborating within the realms of many styles and disciplines of music. Jonathan Horne currently plays guitar with the Young Mothers, Ingebrigt Håker Flaten’s (Exit) Knarr, Water Damage, Thor and Friends, Heavy Meddo, his Norway based rock band Horne (w/ Olaf Olsen, Ingebrigt Haker Flaten, and Jonas Cambien), a trio with Paal Nilssen Love and Jon Rune Strom, a quartet with Andreas Roysum, Ingebrigt Haker Flaten, and Andreas Wildhagen, Horne + Holt, Fussy Chickens (duo with Sandy Ewen), and THC Trio (Thomson, Horne, & Lisa Cameron). Horne has also worked with Glenn Branca, Joe McPhee, Burton Greene, Perry Robinson, Kurt Newman, Bob Hoffnar, Rob Mazurek, Chad Taylor, Jaimie Branch, Julien Desprez, Mette Rasmussen, Weasel Walter, Damon Smith, Marshall R. Trammell, Mars Williams, Dave Rempis, Jason Stein, Chris Cogburn, Jeph Jerman, Sarah Hennies, Eugene Chadbourne, Tetuzi Akiyama, Tom Carter, Nate Cross, Misha Marks, Hans Hulbækmo, Alex Coke, Omar Tamez, White Denim, and many others. About Cat Clemons: Cat Clemons III is a guitarist, bassist, composer, and educator based in Austin, Texas. Dayne Reliford – Piano Benjamin Dubois – Guitar James Suter – Bass Joshua Berry – Drums Dayne Reliford is a pianist, arranger, and composer from Houston, Texas. His musical journey started at the age of 4 when his grandparents enrolled him in lessons after watching him gravitate to their upright piano as a toddler. In December of 2020, Dayne graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Jazz Studies from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. Now, he serves as a freelance musician in Austin and has shared the stage with artists such as Brannen Temple, Robin Mckelle, Delfayo Marsalis, Andre Hayward, Michael Malone, Hannibal Lokumbe, and others. Rachel Spencer – Trumpet Matt Maldonado – Saxophones Ben Irom – Piano Liam O’Dell – Bass Mati Soto – Drums Austin-based trumpeter Rachel Spencer is known for her expressive tone, stylistic agility, and dynamic presence as both a side musician and bandleader. She has toured internationally, most recently serving as lead trumpet on the North American Broadway tour of The Addams Family: A Musical Comedy . Described as soulful and honest, her music takes inspiration from her musical heroes such as Kenny Garrett, Blue Mitchell, Roy Hargrove, and Bobby Shew. Dr. Spencer is looking forward to releasing her debut recording, The Next Right Thing, which is pending release in early 2027.
