Grammy Award-winning pianist Bill Charlap has performed with many of the leading artists of our time, from Wynton Marsalis and Tony Bennett to Phil Woods and Ron Carter. He is acclaimed for his interpretations of the American Popular Songbook and has recorded albums featuring the music of Hoagy Carmichael, Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Richard Rodgers, and Duke Ellington. Since 1997, he has led the celebrated trio, recognized as one of the leading groups in jazz. The trio earned Grammy nominations for Uptown Downtown (Impulse!/Verve), Somewhere: The Songs of Leonard Bernstein (Blue Note) and The Bill Charlap Trio: Live at the Village Vanguard (Blue Note). Their 2016 recording, Notes from New York (Impulse!/Verve) earned a five-star review in Downbeat, which hailed it as “a masterclass in class.” The trio’s most recent release, Street of Dreams marks their return to the Blue Note label. In his acclaimed 25-year musical career, vocalist Kenny Williams has lit up stages nationally and internationally, and spent nearly a decade performing on Broadway in New York City, making his Broadway debut in Disney’s hit musical The Lion King. A tornado of talent and charisma, Williams possesses an impressive vocal range and a light-from-within aura. The Austin native studied voice at the University of Texas, and cut his teeth as an actor and an entertainer in clubs on the city’s famed 6th Street and at ZACH Theatre. Williams was born to entertain, and his star shines brightly. He is a truly gifted vocalist, while his spirit, energy, and passion will bring you back for more. Hamilton De Holanda is one of Brazil’s most celebrated musicians, a global ambassador for Brazilian music, and a master of improvisation. Picking up the mandolin at the age of five, he revolutionized the 10-string version of the instrument, blending Brazilian traditions like choro with jazz and other global influences. A four-time Latin Grammy winner with 17 nominations, Hamilton has earned international recognition and amassed over 14 million streams across 180 countries, with 800,000 monthly listeners on Spotify in 2024. His music is rooted in family encouragement, a university degree in composition, and the vibrant choro street jams of Brasília. As an educator and cultural advocate, he co-founded the world’s first Choro School in Brasília and led the movement to establish a National Day of Choro in Brazil. His collaborations include legends like Wynton Marsalis, Chick Corea, and Milton Nascimento, and he has graced stages at iconic venues and festivals such as Rock in Rio, Montreux, and Newport Jazz.
