Victor Monsivais, Jazz + Bossanova Victor Monsivais Jazz + Bossa Nova Guitar / Vocals / Percussion Victor Monsivais has been performing Jazz Standard and Bossa Nova, as well as his own compositions. for over two decades in all kinds of events and venues; including the legendary Rex Hotel, the Reservoir Lounge, the Gladstone Hotel, the Drom Taberna and The Lula lounge. His repertoire draws from the greatest Brazilian composers, such as Antonio Carlos Jobim, Newton Mendoça and Ary Barroso; performing their original Portuguese versions. Also, when performing Jazz Standards, from composers such as Ellington or Van Heusen, he renders the original versions. Victor is a vocalist, songwriter, and arranger, who sings and plays the guitar, with the true Bossa, Swing and Latin beats; he also plays percussion and occasionally piano in his solo presentations.
