Dreaded Soul

Simply put, Dreaded Soul is a group dedicated to making you dance so hard your ass breaks. The band flows between old school funk, nu soul, hip hop, and house to keep the grooves fresh in order to keep you on the dancefloor. Collectively and individually, they have amassed a large list of credits as sidemen for the likes of bluesmen Taj Mahal, Bo Diddley, Hubert Sumlin, Eddy Clearwater, Eddie ‘cleanhead’ Vinson.... (as well as many other artists and diverse genres). Multi- award winning (Junos, Maple Blues Awards), the Grand Koolios pedigree and musicianship is undeniable! Camaro 67 brings together classic Afrobeat influences (Fela Kuti, Tony Allen), and modern Afrofunk/Groove sounds (Antibalas, Budos Band, The Herbaliser) to produce a propulsive, high-energy, made-in-Vancouver funk experience.
