The CGT Jazz Collective is composed of vibraphonist Pete Chauvette, bassist Scott Giambusso and vocalist Scott Taylor. They perform on the third Wednesday of each month at Hank Dietle’s Tavern in Bethesda

Guitarist Chuck Underwood leads a contemporary trio.

Swing 5 performs 1930s French hot jazz, swing and traditional New Orleans jazz with an emphasis on the string and accordion sound of the era. The show is preceded by beginner lessons in Balboa, a type of swing dancing created for energetic tempos.

Straight-ahead guitarist Rick Whitehead brings a classic Wes Montgomery tone and approach to standards.

Keyboardist Tam Sullivan and saxophonist dan Gutwein co-lead the “Brother Bill” Quintet, a small combo dedicated to playing the standards of 1950s and 1960s hard bop classic albums from Blue Note Records.
