Known for his expressive tone and deep musicality, Tymish leads his own quintet and is a sought-after sideman, performing regularly at top venues across the city. He has worked and studied with jazz luminaries such as Harold Mabern, Terri Lyne Carrington, Kirk MacDonald, and Pat LaBarbera, and was a featured soloist on Caity Gyorgy’s Juno Award-winning album Featuring . A frequent performer at The Rex, Tymish has appeared with ensembles including the Jacob Chung Quintet, Ale Nunez group, Duncan Wilson Quartet and more.
