The Daniel Easty Quartet w: Monthly Guest Musicians Daniel Easty – Sax or Drums One of Toronto’s top jazz stars, Daniel Easty has been a mainstay on the scene for 15 years. A professional musician since childhood, he started first as a classical musician and then transitioned into jazz, with a strong interest in hip-hop developing later. In a wide array of settings he has been featured with many of Canada’s top artists, after being heavily awarded winning many awards and scholarships towards his education and career. An accomplished composer, he has produced many works spanning an array of different musical styles. Daniel can be heard around town at Toronto’s top jazz venues and clubs. These days his regular gigs are at the Emmet Ray, and The Houndstooth, Drom Taberna, and the Jazz Bistro.
