Free concert at Presidio Theatre in San Francsico. USAF The Commanders Jazz Ensemble celebrates America's musical heritage by bringing the powerful, sophisticated sounds of big band jazz to life. As a vital component of the Band of the Golden West, The Commanders Jazz Ensemble harnesses world-class musical excellence to honor our nation and those who have served, inspires patriotism and resilience in our Airmen, Guardians, and citizens, and connects the Air Force with communities and partners across the country. Led by TSgt Michael Mannella and under the artistic direction of SrA John Merlitz and A1C Spencer Banister, this premier 16-member powerhouse is comprised of elite, full-time professional Airmen-musicians. Touring the western United States, the ensemble delivers high-energy concerts and engaging educational clinics.

His ‘Transcendent Trio’, formed for a “Jazz on the Patio” residency during the pandemic will feature the dynamic Jesse Levit-Saxophone, the ebullient Jason Lewis-drums and Rowe on Hammond organ for a set of Blues, Bebop, Ballads and Banter. Tickets Get Tickets Get Tickets Marco Antonio de Carvalho is an award-winning musician: Guitarist, Performer, Vocalist and Composer. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, he has lived in Seattle Washington for over 25 years. Formally, he was trained at the Conservatório Brasileiro de Música and Instituto Villa-Lobos in Rio and then toured Brazil and abroad with Brazilian musicians. He toured the US extensively, originally on tour with Paulo Sá (mandolin), fell in love with Seattle, Washington and has made his home there. Marco has over seven albums to his credit and is an artist on Origin Records. Award winning artist and Maui, HI native Neal Chin, has been both an ‘ukulele educator and performer over the course of his musical career of 19 years. His clear and direct enthusiasm for music has come to life in countless workshops, concerts, and private instruction. While his heart is in jazz, Neal has played with many musicians of different genres including Hawaiian, folk, rock, and hip-hop. His contribution to the collective The Akira Project, won his first Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award in 2014 before moving up to the Pacific Northwest. Ami Molinelli is a professional percussionist and educator specializing in American (roots/pop/jazz), Brazilian and Latin music. Ami received her Master of Fine Arts from the California Institute of the Arts. Her performance and recording credits include theater, and television (NBC). She is endorsed by Latin Percussion (LP) and Rhythm Tech. Tickets: $40 per show First come, first served seating policy. No Reservations.
