TICKETS $25 | ALL AGES Greg Goebel (Piano) Garrett Baxter (Bass) Christopher Brown (Drums) With special guest Chris Clark-Johnson (guitar) Upon Christopher Brown’s return to Portland in 2012—which was preceded by 13 years in the NYC area, as well as four years in the Marine Corps—the assemblage of his quartet quickly became one of note. And by 2017, his quartet had officially become the most visible Jazz group in all of Portland, with a steady weekly cadence of 3-4 performances, which was maintained until the start of the global pandemic. And even then, it took them no more than three months to return to a similar weekly performance schedule. Since 2017, the quartet has created a home for themselves at the famed 1905 Jazz club in Portland. And through their regular performances, they’ve not only helped to raise the profile of the venue to one of the world’s top 100 Jazz clubs according to Down Beat Magazine, but of Jazz itself in Portland. So in a market where it's difficult to maintain group's with the same personnel, it's arguable that the Christopher Brown Quartet succeeds as being one of (if not the best) Jazz "group" in all of Portland, which in turn gives them such a powerful

TICKETS $30 | ALL AGES Composed of Mia Garcia and Hailey Niswanger, the duo channels the essence of the divine with the intention to unify and uplift souls through powerful frequencies. OHMA weaves a fusion of acoustic classical, folk, cosmic jazz, and electronic textures, sparkled with elemental nature sounds. In 2022, OHMA released their acclaimed debut album, Between All Things, and toured the North America supporting FKJ. The duo has also performed extensively on the west coast, including the Earshot Jazz Festival in Seattle, and internationally in London, Amsterdam, Mexico City, and Japan performing on Mt. Fuji. Their second offering On Loving Earth (2024), shares intimate moments with nature, as the sounds were captured acoustically in the mountains of Altadena. Combined, the two instrumentalists play guitar, bass, piano, flute, saxophone, bass clarinet, clarinet, accordion, synthesizers, vocals, and more. Together they create unique sonic landscapes that inspires all to connect with the world around them.

We are proud to partner with Portland's Waterfront Blues Festival to offer a series of late night afterparties celebrating the legacy of American music and the blues! Doors: 8:30pm Show: 9:30pm OKONSKI Okonski is the eponymous piano trio led by Asheville, North Carolina–based pianist Steve Okonski, featuring Michael Isvara Montgomery on upright bass and Aaron Frazer on drums. Often recording fully improvised performances directly to tape, the trio’s music has been described as meditative, introspective, and ethereal. Okonski’s compositions emphasize space and melody, pairing expressive piano lines with subtle rhythm and texture. A longtime collaborator with Durand Jones & The Indications, he has also worked with Say She She, BJ the Chicago Kid, and Scott McMicken, among others. All three Okonski releases, including 2025’s Entrance Music are out now on Colemine Records. Notes on Seating: Open seating, may be limited or standing room only. First come, first seated.
