INSTRUMENTS

Spanish bassist Vincen García gritty jazz-funk fusion. Born to musician parents, García began performing at an early age. He has been performing professionally for nearly 15 years, making a name for himself in international jazz and funk scenes with his intricate groove-oriented sound and rich, lyrical improvisation. The Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio specializes in “feel good music,” pulling from a range of influences, including Motown soul, funk, blues, Jimmy Smith-style organ jazz and Jimi Hendrix-inspired psychedelic guitar. The group is led by virtuosic organist and multi-instrumentalist Delvon Lamarr, who plays alongside guitarist Jimmy James and drummer Dan Weiss.
