About Nasar Abadey

Abadey’s official biography presents him as a Washington drummer, composer, educator, and leader of SUPERNOVA. The profile distinguishes that ensemble from his wider performance and teaching work rather than treating every sideman appearance as a leader project.[1]

The official discography maps Abadey’s leader recordings, while Smithsonian American Art’s concert archive documents his quartet in a public D.C. performance. Together they connect the durable local identity to both recorded and live small-group work.[2][3]

SUPERNOVA

Abadey’s official profile identifies SUPERNOVA as his principal leader ensemble.[1]

Leader recordings

The artist discography separates Abadey’s own releases from collaborative appearances.[2]

Smithsonian performance

The museum archive preserves a D.C. quartet concert under Abadey’s name.[3]
