Join us for a special Happy Hour (the Happiest Hour), with lovely music, good food & drink, marvelous ambience, and some of your very best friends. Happy Hour: 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM Ticket: FREE No cover, just great drinks and snacks The Casalini Trio has played happy hours at the Royal Room since 2019. They play laid-back, swinging versions of great tunes by Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn, Hoagie Carmichael, Phillip Johnston, and other great American songwriters of the last 100 years. The happy hour usually lasts about an hour and a half. Good drinks, good people, good ambience, and there’s never a cover charge, although the band often encourages donations to local food banks and other worthy causes.

The Royal Room is All Ages until 10pm They get up an hour early for school all year to hone their sound, and now these young student musicians are ready to swing and entertain you in their band’s 2026 culminating performance! Robert Eagle Staff Middle School is proud to present the premier band of its award-winning jazz program, Robert Eagle Staff Jazz 1. Directed by Patrick Gordon, the group performs all genres of jazz including big band, Latin jazz, and New Orleans style brass. Since their school’s founding in 2017, Eagle Staff’s Jazz 1 bands have been honored several times with the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival sweepstakes award and other first-place finishes. We invite you to celebrate all they’ve learned as this unique combination of students performs together one last time!

Winter in America is an homage highlighting Gil Scott-Heron’s and Brian Jackson’s inspirational music, poetry, and original spoken word. The show engages today’s audience with Scott-Heron’s and Jackson’s signature themes: the African-American experience and unity in the struggle for justice everywhere. Featuring some of the best artists in the Pacific Northwest, we aim to bring new life to this under-appreciated, yet vital music.
