Ondřej Štveráček Quartet Tuesday 07/07/2026 from 21:00 Quartet of the phenomenal saxophonist Ondřej Štveráček, noted for its energy, bravura technique and creative improvisation. The music of this group could be called post-Coltrane bop. Prague-based saxophonist Ondřej Štveráček and his sterling quartet are a driving force in Central Europe’s thriving jazz scene and the group’s stellar outing on the album The Form , is more than ample testament to this claim. A young lion from the Czech Republic, Štveráček was inspired by the music of John Coltrane, and, although drawn in by his style, he clearly distinguishes himself by developing a voice all his own. The album presents an audacious session of post-bop jazz where his own musical style and the approach on such pieces as the electrifying high-octane opening title track, provide further evidence of the drift from the Coltrane influence (Edward Blanco All About Jazz ). Ondřej Štveráček’s thunderous tenor sax recalls ‘new breed’ reedmen like Steve Grossman and Dave Liebman who honed their sound in the billowing wake of John Coltrane’s le

Sarah & The Adams Thursday 09/07/2026 from 21:00 Sarah & The Adams is a unique music group headed by the talented singer, pianist, ukulele player and songwriter Šárka Adámková. The band was formed in 2011 with the release of their successful debut album My Place, followed by the 2014 album Thank You. Now the band is coming out with its latest album Pověz mi... (Tell me…), which will be introduced to their listeners live. Although Sarah retains her distinctive musical style, inspired by her love for American folk and country, and performers such as Norah Jones and Carol King, the new work brings many new features. The most significant change is Czech, which this time the whole album speaks. So, in the lyrics the author seems to go even deeper, leaving nothing hidden and getting closer to the listener than ever before. A unique blend of well-being, melancholy, gentleness and playfulness, all featuring Sarah & The Adams music, where there are no genre boundaries. The point of their music is to be carried away by it. Šárka Adámková – zpěv, klavír, ukulele; Michal Gregor – kytary, zpěv; J
