Takin’Off Friday 03/07/2026 from 21:00 Takin'Off is an independent music group that plays energetic dance music and celebrated 25 years on the Czech music scene last year! The group produces, with a few exceptions, original songs on the border of funk, soul, pop, hiphop and R´n´B genres. The individual members of the group are mostly involved in other musical projects: busy instrumentalists on domestic stages, as well as sought-after studio players. The most frequent vocalist today is Kateřina Romansová, and in addition to the five-member brass section, rapper Henry D is also an essential part of the band. Jamie Marshall's Amplified Acoustic Band Sunday 12/07/2026 from 20:00 The Amplified Acoustic Band is a rootsy band with blues, folk and soul influences—and a sound as unique as their line-up. There is quite simply no other band like them in the Czech Republic. Based in Prague, they are fronted by acclaimed English songwriter, singer and guitar player Jamie Marshall, who is joined by six exceptional musicians, all well known in the Czech live music and studio scenes. Delivering an eclectic mix of Jamie’s original songs and their signature arrangements of a broad range of covers, the band’s distinctive sound comes not just from the voices of their two lead singers, Jamie and Svatka Hlávková Štěpánková (who also plays double bass), but from their almost all-acoustic instrumentation.
