Join us for a special edition of our Monthly Jazz Jam as we celebrate the legacy of Bessie Smith. Our Jazz Jams are open to professional jazz musicians, graduate students studying jazz, music educators and serious hobbyists, our Monthly Jazz Jams invites musicians to perform at Flushing Town Hall. All are welcome, regardless of instrument (vocalists, too!). Our Steinway baby grand and drum kit are available at each Jam. FTH's Jazz Jam house band leader, Carol Sudhalter, plays flute, baritone and tenor sax and has been running our Monthly Jazz Jams since 2016. She is joined by Joe Vincent Tranchina (piano), Eric Lemon (bass) and Scott Neumann (drums). Each house band member brings over 40 years of Jazz experience to the jam! Play Jazz?
