Nazir Ebo

Zildjian's artist profile identifies Ebo as a Philadelphia multi-instrumentalist, bandleader, and educator who began performing at nine through the Clef Club Youth Ensemble and Kimmel Center Creative Music Program. His own release biography also documents classical bass training alongside drums.[1][2]

Ebo's first leader album, Beyond, grew from an improvisational electric band formed in 2021. Alongside that project, official sources document his work in Joshua Redman's ensemble through the Blue Note album Words Fall Short and an NPR Music Tiny Desk performance.[2][3][4]
