Kansas City jazz & blues pianist/vocalist/legend Betty Bryant album release show with Richard Simon, Kevin Winard, and Robert Kyle Show: 7:30pm // Doors/Dinner reservations begin at 6:00PM Legendary Kansas City Jazz & Blues pianist & vocalist Betty Bryant releases her brand new (14th) album "nothin' better to do" at Herb Alpert's Vibrato Grill Jazz. Come celebrate with Betty in concert with her fabulous band featuring Richard Simon - Bass, Kevin Winard - Drums & Robert Kyle - Sax & flute! Betty Bryant is a revered pianist/singer who brings a solid piano technique, a light, swinging touch and a skilled vocal approach to her music. Whether she is playing the blues, delivering obscure cabaret gems, her own originals songs, or romping through serious jazz compositions, Betty always connects with the material and with her audience. “Betty’s light piano touch is reminiscent of Count Basie. In fact, if Basie sang, he might’ve sounded like Betty Bryant. You’ll revel at Betty’s story telling.” - Gary Walker, WGBO FM. All Ages Welcome! Advance table reservations strongly recommended. This project brings together the raw passion of flamenco with the spontaneity and soul of jazz — blending compás, groove, improvisation, and deep musical conversation into one unforgettable night. Expect fiery rasgueados, lyrical melodies, Latin rhythms, and moments where the music stretches and breathes with true duende. Joining me for this special performance: • Wendy Castellanos – Flamenco Dance • Melody Collins – Flute • Scott Wolf – Guitar • Guil Juliao – Bass • Elias Vasquez – Drums & Percussion Plus Special Guests. Together we’ll move from intimate acoustic textures to high-energy Flamenco Jazz explorations inspired by Paco de Lucía, Chick Corea, and the spirit of the tablao mixed with a late-night jazz club. From deep grooves and swinging improvisation to explosive palmas and passionate baile, this ensemble lives in the space where Flamenco puro meets jazz freedom. Come share an evening of music, wine, rhythm, and soul at one of Ventura’s great listening rooms. Tony Ybarra 805-403-6375 [email protected] www.YbarraMusic.com PURCHASE TICKETS HERE
