Since moving to London from Uruguay in 1997 Guille Hill (pronounced Gee-jay) has established himself as a first call guitarist across the musical spectrum. The list of artists that he has worked with is a testament to his creativity and skill, including Tom Jones, Jennifer Lopez and Airto Moreira. Tonight Guille will be bringing his acoustic band to the Club, which he describes as “bringing a fresh and innovative approach to latin instrumental music, with groovy rhythms and contemporary harmonies rooted back in South America, but extensively developed in the UK over the years.” Joining him will be some of the finest Latin players in the UK, Steve Lodder (Paul McCartney)-piano/keyboards, Nando DeMarco bass & Andres Ticino percussion.
