Schubert and Brahms: the Trout and the Trio Sun, 16 Aug, 3pm An afternoon of warmth, wit, and virtuosity. Schubert’s beloved Trout Quintet is playful, songful, and irresistibly charming, while Brahms’s Horn Trio brings richness, its finale breaking into a joyous hunting-call rondo. Performing are experienced Sydney chamber musicians Adele Ohki, Robert Johnson, Alexander Yau, James Eccles, Chris Bennett, and Elsen Price. This pop-up performance builds toward the launch of the Sydney Chamber Music Institute this October, featuring one of SCMI’s first enrolled students and the mentorship and opportunity at the heart of the Institute.
