Musical Style: Jazz, Classical, Soul & Pop Ryan Benthall is a pianist/composer/performer born in St. Louis and then moved to Boulder, CO in 2020. He’s been performing rock, jazz, classical and pop music professionally since high school in bands such as the Jackson Stokes Band opening for the 2019-2020 Allman Betts Band world tour, The Schwag, Charlie Berry project & Brother Francis & the Soultones. Since moving to Colorado, Ryan has been involved with many different bands including Phoebe Nix, Daft Phish, Beyond, New Family Dog, the salsa band ONDA & Green Buddha to name just a few. He performs regularly with his current jazz trio featuring his own original music around the front range and beyond.

Allison Young is a saxophonist and woodwind doubler currently based in Rochester, NY. She regularly performs with groups such as the Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra, the Annie Booth Big Band, and the Zaremba Jazz Fellowship Orchestra, and has also toured internationally with the Glenn Miller Orchestra. Allison has performed alongside musicians such as Dick Oatts, Jeff Hamilton, Wayne Bergeron, Greg Gisbert, Randy Brecker, Tia Fuller, Father John Misty, and Ms. Lauryn Hill. Allison has recorded with the Zaremba Fellowship Orchestra, Ted Davies Big Band, and the Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra, all with records out now. As a bandleader, she regularly leads the Allison Young Quartet at venues such as Dazzle and Nocturne Jazz Club, and recently recorded a live set on KUVO, Denver’s premiere jazz radio station. Allison graduated with her Master’s degree in Jazz Performance at the Eastman School of Music in May of 2026 and previously earned her Bachelors of Music degree in Music Business from the University of Northern Colorado. Domi Edson is an emerging force in jazz education, leadership, and performance. Originally from Seattle and now residing in Denver, Domi has performed at Dazzle, Frankie's Jazz Club, Yardbird Suite, The Royal Room, The International Society of Bassists Conference, live on KUVO and KNKX, and at multiple Jazz Education Network conferences. As a sidewoman, she has performed with Terrell Stafford, Jason Marsalis, Charles McPherson, Greg Gisbert, Dawn Clement, among others. Domi is the program director for the small groups at the Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts (CCJA), and also serves as a member of CCJA’s faculty, Vail Jazz Goes to Schools, and the Gift of Jazz's Jazz for the Schools Series.

Musical Style: Straight Ahead, Ambient, Thru-Composed, Rhythmic Luke Leavitt is a Denver native whose love for straight-ahead jazz is matched by a seeking spirit that embraces the joy, healing and adventure found in diverse styles ranging from ambient, free jazz, minimalism, afrobeat, and sound art. Having toured nationally with his own groups, Luke has also played with several national and international figures in jazz, including Arun Luthra, Reggie Workman and Hugh Ragin. His most recent release, Cruel Optimism, is a trio offering of mostly original music, with a nod towards such diverse luminaries as Cole Porter and Steve Lacy. Hezekiah Agbo is a Denver-based drummer whose playing seeks to meld the jazz tradition and the percussive languages of his native Nigeria. Raised among the rhythms of the Yoruba and Hausa peoples, he brings those deep roots into dialogue with jazz, the great American artform.

INSTRUMENTS

Ben Parrish is a guitarist, composer, arranger and educator currently based in Denver, CO. A Seattle native, he moved to Greeley in 2012 where he attended the University of Northern Colorado. He graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in jazz guitar and again in 2019 with a Master's degree in jazz guitar from the University of Denver. Ben plays in several different groups, including internationally-renowned rock band Milquetoast and Company, Dart Echo, indie-rock sensation Amazing Adventures, Thunder Hill Jazz Band, and with RnB groups Unsus and SSIIGGHH. His studio experiences include work with MLQ, The Cairn Project, UNC Lab Band I, and numerous pop, RnB, and folk projects. Ben has performed at various music festivals including Music in The Mountains 2018 in Durango, CO with an orchestra comprising of members from the Dallas Symphony. His debut recording, "Song of the Forest" was released in 2015 and featured all original compositions. He has performed with musicians like Chris Potter, Debra Brown, and Brad Leali, and has experience performing on the Norwegian Jade cruise ship. In 2013, Ben won 1st place in the UNC Jazz Composition Contest. In 2018, he was a member of the Lamont Jazz Orchestra which won the Monterey Next Generation Jazz Festival. Ben currently plays throughout Denver in jazz settings, wedding bands, and rock groups both on guitar and bass. ​ In addition to actively performing, Ben maintains a private teaching studio with students of all ages. Ben's latest album of all original music entitled "Quiet Stream" is out now.

David Tiller is a founding member of Taarka, and ThaMuseMeant, guitarist with the Bonnie Paine Band, and producer and long time collaborator with Elephant Revival, plus a professor of songwriting at the University of Colorado and now releasing his first solo record under his own name this fall of 2025. David has written hundreds of songs throughout his career for different artists, movie soundtracks, and his different bands and collaborations and is now bringing them to life himself and showing folks how he does it.
