Ramona Horvath (p) ; Nicolas Rageau (b) ; Bruno Castelucci (dr) ; David De Vrieze (trb) For her first appearance at Toots Jazz Club in Brussels , pianist Ramona Horvath presents herself in quartet, alongside trombonist David De Vrieze , with Bruno Castellucci on drums — a significant name on the Belgian and European jazz scene, notably known for his long-standing collaboration with Toots Thielemans . Ramona Horvath is a pianist with an elegant and expressive touch, rooted in the bebop and mainstream jazz tradition while developing a personal, contemporary approach. She has performed on numerous stages, festivals and jazz clubs across Europe, and has just released her fifth album as a leader this year on Fresh Sound Records . An evening of swing, experience and musical interplay, bringing together different generations of musicians around jazz that is firmly rooted in tradition while remaining fresh, open and alive.
