Pablo Martín Trio presents “The Standard Us” Born in 2019 in Barcelona and completed by Pablo Martín , Héctor Tejedo and Kike Pérez , the group explores Hardbop and Contemporary Jazz through their own compositions and arrangements. With more than 50 concerts in Spain, France and Italy, the group has received the Talent Award 2020, was a finalist in the Fara Jazz Award in Italy and has released two albums: State of the Trio (2020) and Forward (UnderPool, 2023) nominated for the Enderrock Awards and MIN . Their new work “The Standard Us” (Fresh Sound New Talent) proposes a reinterpretation of different standards such as “I could write a book”, “You do something to me”, “Body and soul”, among others, as well as their own songs that play with the saxophone, drums, double bass format.
