Simon Rigter and Eric Ineke represent two golden generations of Dutch jazz musicians. Eric, turning 80 next year, has played with a never ending list of (American) jazz heroes and continues to elevate the performances of any player that has the pleasure to be accompanied by him. Simon Rigter must be the most logical Jazz player of the Netherlands, equipped with a beautiful sound and a relaxed phrasing. He is a member of the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw and has been an inspirational figure for generations of younger jazz musicians in the Netherlands.
