David Ambrosio

Ambrosio’s official site identifies a New York bassist, composer, and educator whose work includes leader groups and long-running collaborations. It keeps his own quartet separate from Grupo Los Santos and other co-led ensembles.[1]

The Civil Disobedience project page documents Ambrosio’s program built from late-1960s Blue Note compositions connected to the civil-rights era. His artist and label Bandcamp pages provide direct listening to that project and to Moments in Time.[2][3][4]
