Career Overview

About Vinícius Gomes

Gomes's official biography identifies the São Paulo-born, New York-based guitarist and composer and follows a leader and co-leader catalog shaped by Brazilian music and modern jazz. It also documents graduate study in São Paulo and an artist diploma from New York University.[1]

The catalog moves from the 2017 leader album Resiliência through Changes with Santi de la Rubia, the voice-and-guitar duo Home with Song Yi Jeon, and the 2026 collaboration Boundless Species with singer Jamile and bassist Joe Martin. His biography keeps those projects separate from a wider sideman discography.[1][3][4]
