Career Overview

About Pablo Held

Held’s official biography presents a German pianist and composer whose trio with bassist Robert Landfermann and drummer Jonas Burgwinkel has remained a central project. It separately documents his work as educator, producer, and host of the Pablo Held Investigates podcast.[1]

The artist-run Hopalit catalog distinguishes trio, solo, commissioned, and collaborative recordings. Projects with John Scofield, Chris Potter, Nelson Veras, and other musicians appear as specific editions rather than permanent trio membership.[1][2]
