Career Overview

About Mike Moreno

Manhattan School of Music identifies Moreno as a Houston-raised guitarist and composer whose career joins international ensemble work with his own original-music projects. Its faculty biography traces six leader albums beginning with Between the Lines.[1]

Criss Cross Jazz documents four Moreno-led sessions within a wider sideman catalog. Third Wish and First in Mind develop his compositions in quartet and quintet settings, while Three for Three pares the group to a trio and Standards From Film turns to arranged screen repertoire.[1][2]
