Career Overview

About Lina Allemano

Allemano’s official biography identifies a Canadian trumpeter, composer, improviser, and bandleader who divides her work between Toronto and Berlin. It also documents her extended trumpet techniques and her artist-run Lumo Records imprint.[1]

Her leader projects include Lina Allemano Four, the Berlin power trio Ohrenschmaus, the trumpet-and-processing duo BLOOP, Titanium Riot, solo trumpet, and the chamber-scaled Canons. The Lumo catalog preserves each as a distinct recording identity rather than one fixed band.[1][2][3]
