About Keith Balla

SmallsLIVE and SUNY Purchase trace Balla from Austin to New York, where he studied with Kenny Washington and John Riley and became part of the Smalls and Mezzrow community. Both profiles document his development through bebop-oriented ensembles and club work.[1][2]
