About Jeremy Kahn

Northwestern’s faculty biography identifies Kahn as a Chicago pianist and jazz-piano lecturer who studied at New England Conservatory with Jaki Byard. After twelve years in New York, he returned to Chicago and joined the Chicago Jazz Ensemble.[1]

Kahn’s official archive separates leader trio and quartet recordings, work with vocalists and reed players, the Double Monk dance project, commercial sessions, and theater conducting.
