Career Overview

About Farnell Newton

Newton’s official site identifies a Portland trumpeter, producer, and music-licensing professional whose recorded work spans jazz, funk, Latin music, soul, hip-hop, and lo-fi production. It keeps touring and session credits separate from releases under his own name.[1]

Newton’s artist-run Bandcamp maps an extensive catalog of trumpet-led recordings, beat projects, and collaborations. The Soul of Jazz provides a live leader setting distinct from his production work and from appearances in projects led by other artists.[1][2]
