Ben Street

Berklee's Global Jazz Institute biography traces Street's studies with Miroslav Vitous and Dave Holland at New England Conservatory and his move to New York in 1991. It documents touring and recording with Danilo Pérez, Kurt Rosenwinkel, David Sanchez, Mark Turner, Lee Konitz, and other leaders.[1]

Street's durable ensemble work includes the Billy Hart Quartet with Hart, Mark Turner, and Ethan Iverson. ECM describes the group as a twenty-year collaboration and documents Street on All Our Reasons, One Is the Other, and Just, while Smoke Sessions presents a separate co-billed trio with Kevin Hays and Hart on Bridges.[2][3]
