Kenny has performed at the Monterey Jazz Festival, The Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival, and The Virginia Arts Festival. Wynton Marsalis brings him to sing at Jazz At Lincoln Center. He’s won the “Rising Star” Downbeat Critics’ Poll award, and has given international performances in Germany, Spain, Denmark, Georgia, Czech Republic, Singapore, South Korea, Mongolia, Canada, Japan and Russia. Kenny will be accompanied by an A-list band, assembled just for this concert: Pianist Tamir Hendelman, a favorite of L.A. jazz fans. At age 14, he won the Yamaha National Piano Competition. Singers like Barbra Streisand, Natalie Cole and Diana Krall have depended on his taste and sophistication. For years, his virtuosity has lit up The Clayton-Hamilton Band and the Jeff Hamilton Trio. Grammy-winning alto sax virtuoso, Danny Janklow, has performed and toured alongside legendary artists including Herbie Hancock, Gregory Porter, and Stevie Wonder. The concert will be presented in the beautiful Centennial Ballroom at the Los Angeles Athletic Club in DTLA. Parking garage entrance is located at 646 South Olive Street 90014. Parking is $10 with validation. Optional brunch/cocktails are available before the concert, just note on the ticket form whether you want to come for brunch.
