Helen Sung Oracles Quartet

About

About Helen Sung’s debut big band album Oracles celebrates the jazz legends who were her mentor-teachers at the Monk Institute of Jazz Performance (now the Herbie Hancock Institute). Sung distills this music for her Oracles Quartet, and makes her West Coast debut with a stellar band of oracles-in-the-making performing musical portraits of legends including Jimmy Heath, Kenny Barron, and Wayne Shorter while including the music of a modern oracle (or two!).
