Hosted by José Rizo and Rhonda Hamilton from KJAZZ 88.1 with DJs Novena Carmel and Francesca Harding from KCRW 89.9 spinning between live jazz sets. Leimert Park Jazz Festival creates space for artists to come together to honor tradition, innovate, and keep jazz alive and evolving in South L.A. and beyond. Leimert Park Jazz Festival is a South L.A.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to preserve jazz, nurture the next generation of artists, cultivate audiences, and expand access to jazz-centered arts programming that strengthens communities and promotes well-being.
