Gwen Black Arts/Arts and Jazzfest NYC(tm) invite you to join us for another exciting outdoor jazz performance on Governor's Island in the beautiful green oasis at Colonial Row. Joining us this year are the remarkable performers Sharp Radway Band; Eric Person Quartet; Joe Baione Quintet; Mark Adams Septet Jazzical with a special tribute to the late great Roy Ayers and Lady Cantrese and her Gents with a kick off celebration featuring a 2nd Line dedicated to New Orleans and Louie Armstrong presented by Roz Nixon Live on Stage and My Time, Inc. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and a picnic basket and enjoy jazz on the island(tm) This event is free, but ferry tickets are required.
