Jason Robinson's Janus Orchestra

About

About We're very excited to present the release concert for 'Blue Salience: for Yusef Lateef' from Jason Robinson’s Janus Orchestra. Blue Salience is a kaleidoscopic sound journey inspired by and dedicated to the late Dr. Yusef Lateef, a towering figure in American music. Across 135 minutes and 13 pieces, Robinson maps striking, expansive sound worlds that defy simple categorization, ranging from jazz and modern classical music to irresistibly danceable grooves and heady abstraction.
