Vibraphonist, bandleader, composer, and arranger Nick Mancini brings his brilliant and entertaining live performance back to the G-Spot as he reunites with his Los Angeles-based Collective after more than a year. This is an opportunity to be up close & personal with Nick and the band in a cozy, intimate, house concert setting in Glassell Park/Mount Washington with world-class sound. In 2020, Nick relocated his family to Tulsa, OK but remains a creative force on the Los Angeles jazz scene – a distinction he’s held for 16+ years and running. As a bandleader, Nick has 12 albums to his name, including 3 recorded with this incredible Collective. He has performed and recorded with major artists as well as standout local voices, appearing on stages from intimate clubs to international festivals. Born in upstate New York, Mancini spent a decade in the New York City scene and 14 years in Los Angeles before settling in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he lives with his wife and two children. He is a sponsored artist with Majestic Percussion and has a signature vibraphone mallet with Innovative Percussion.
