Pianist, composer Laszlo Gardony invited two friends to join his trio: multi-instrumentalist Stan Strickland and flutist, Christian Artmann. Pianist, composer, and Berklee and Harvard Piano Professor, Laszlo Gardony invited two musicians - both friends and collaborators - to join his long-standing trio for this concert. Long-time collaborator and Boston icon, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Stan Strickland is joining the band. Also featured is fellow Sunnyside Recoeds artist, flutist, brilliant composer, Christian Artmann. Christian first made a name for himself in New York before moving to San Francisco, where he continues to earn accolades for his recordings and performances. Laszlo’s trio: John Lockwood (bass) and Yoron Israel (drums) rounds out the quintet. All members of the group have recorded for Sunnyside Records. Stan appears on two Gardony albums, while Gardony is featured two of Artmann releases. On the latest Artmann release, John Lockwood and Yoron Israel are also featured. Laszlo, John, and Yoron - as Laszlo's trio - recorded six albums for Sunnyside. Laszlo is featured on three of Yoron's albums.
