Join Suzie Telep for an evening of music, conversation, and connection in the warmth of Sonia’s home. French-Cameroonian vocalist and songwriter Suzie Telep invites audiences into an intimate house concert at Sonia Oyola’s home, featuring original songs and reimagined repertoire from jazz, soul, French chanson, West African, and Afro-Caribbean traditions. Singing in French, English, Basaa, Creole, and more, she offers a heartfelt musical journey centered on storytelling, rhythm, and connection. A former presence on the Paris jazz scene at iconic venues including 38 Riv’ and Péniche Marcounet, Suzie now brings her powerful voice and magnetic, storytelling-driven stage presence to Chicago audiences. She is currently preparing her debut EP, "Afropean Travel". Suggested donation: $30 per attendee.
