On Saturday evening, August 29th, vocalist Deborah Winters, pianist Ken Cook, bassist Sascha Jacobsen and percussionist Ian Dogole will unite to take their listeners on a musical journey that traverses distant lands and diverse styles. Percussion instruments from around the globe will collaborate with voice, keyboards and bass in ever-changing configurations that showcase each member as the leader. They will perform compositions by Nina Simone, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Duke Ellington, Astor Piazzolla, a medley of tunes recorded by vocalist Lizz Wright and original compositions from the band.
