From his early days with Henry Cow to decades of boundary-pushing collaborations and improvisation, he has continually expanded the sonic possibilities of the guitar through extended techniques and fearless experimentation.A longtime Bay Area presence and former Mills College professor, Frith brings a new quartet, Fremakajo, featuring drummer Jordan Glenn, saxophonist Kasey Knudsen, and accordionist Marié Abe.JORDAN GLENN’s BEAK—JG's BEAK (est. 2014) is a percussion heavy ensemble that blurs the line between dynamic/energetic grooves and chaos. The power of this electric ensemble is wheeled by Jordan Glenn’s curious baton, moving in and out of composed and spontaneous material.
