Jazz in Transit, from NYC, Septet with a versatile repertoire from jazz to funk to latin music. Jazz in Transit is an up and coming music group composed of young musicians from New York City. The group connected in high school through a shared love for music which continues to be the main driver for their performances. They’ve hosted shows at various venues across NYC, with some of their members having played at world renowned establishments like Smalls and Dizzy’s Club. Jazz in Transit’s repertoire includes everything from jazz standards to original compositions.
