Mohini Dey

About

Bassist and vocalist Mohini Dey specializes in cross-cultural jazz fusion. Dey began performing professionally at age 9 and has worked with the likes of Stanley Clarke, Quincy Jones, Indian tabla player Zakir Hussain, and Willow Smith. Her 2023 self-titled album, Mohini Dey, blends classical Indian carnatic rhythms and vocals with Black American music styles like jazz, rock, R&B and funk.
