$15 (General Admission) 7:30pm Show Get Tickets The Early Planets, formed by Minneapolis based guitarist and composer Mike Wolter , performs original works that are informed by a wide range of musical styles and approaches to composition and improvisation. Influences for the group include the music of Thelonious Monk, Marc Ribot, Jeff Parker, Neil Young, Parliament-Funkadelic, Ornette Coleman, Gilberto Gil, and Duke Ellington. Their debut album, The Waits / inBetween Music , was released on Shifting Paradigm Records in 2024.
