The Tacet Jazz Quintet was formed in 2025. Its members are current or former students of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music. The core of the band’s repertoire consists of original compositions by Edvárd Gergely, reflecting his admiration for classic American jazz standards, hard bop, Horace Silver, as well as Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers.
