About

Chino Swingslide – vocals, resophonic guitar, electric guitar. TotaBlues – harmonica. Fernando Slap – double bass. Marc Dino – drums. Leading his quartet, Chino Swingslide presents a musical style where tradition and contemporary creativity coexist naturally. With a repertoire consisting almost entirely of original compositions, the band draws from blues, rhythm & blues, swing, and American roots music to craft a unique, distinctive sound that goes far beyond the mere recreation of classics. In 2026, the band won the 3rd Volotea Blues Challenge, earning the right to represent Spain at the 2027 European Blues Challenge. This achievement adds to Chino Swingslide’s international track record; he previously won second prize at the 2013 European Blues Challenge with his former band, Chino & The Big Bet. With a style defined by a strong musical identity, the Chino Swingslide Quartet has established itself as one of the most compelling blues bands on the national scene, combining respect for tradition with a unique voice and an elegant, energetic stage presence.
