Born in Alberta, Sean left at a young age to study bass in Doha, Qatar, under renowned bassist Matteo Gaspari of the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra. After studying music in Qatar, Finland, and Alberta, Sean now splits his time between Edmonton and Toronto. He is quickly establishing himself as one of the most active names in Canada’s music scene, performing alongside artists such as PJ Perry, Jocelyn Gould, and Melissa Aldana, to name a few. Sean performs with a wide range of ensembles, including his own ensemble, and has opened for high-profile acts such as Cory Henry, Robert Plant, and Alison Krauss.
