Join Melbourne jazz vocalist Amelia Evans and her exceptional band featuring Russell Tay (piano), Blakely McLean Davies (bass) and Alex Spicer (drums), as they present ‘Sophisticated Lady: A Tribute to Jazz’s First Ladies of Song’ – a swingin’ show celebrating and honoring the greatest, female jazz vocalists in history. Jazz vocalist Amelia Evans is one of Melbourne’s rising stars. A finalist in the 2020 Wangaratta Festival of Jazz & Blues National Jazz Awards, Amelia has performed with the likes of Terri-Lyne Carrington, James Morrison and Linda Oh, collaborated with pianist Bob Sedergreen on her debut album The First Song, and won a score of awards including the 2017 Generations In Jazz Vocal Scholarship
